The Full Story

What I do

I work with women in midlife who know they are meant for more.

More energy. More clarity. More purpose.

Women who are ready to feel well in their bodies again.

Women ready to create the next chapter of their lives with intention.

My work weaves together physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health because in my experience you simply cannot separate them.

When a woman comes to me to change her physical health, she restores her energy and balances her body, and something else happens too. She starts to see herself differently. She makes braver decisions. She feels more confident in her own skin. She stops shrinking. She realises she is ready for more. This becomes the moment to act and create the life she truly wants to live, so she does not fall back into the one that made her feel unwell in the first place.

It can work the other way too. If a woman feels stuck, trapped, uninspired or disconnected from her purpose, she can lose the motivation to care for her health. If she believes it is too late, that she is not enough, that this is just how it is now, this is her lot, it's all downhill from here... then her vitality slowly drains away.

This is why I work with the whole woman. We look honestly, without judgement, at what is really going on, and then we create a compelling vision for the future. A life that feels worth living well for.

Then we do whatever it takes!

Why I do it

That understanding did not come from textbooks. It came from living it.

Two life experiences shaped everything I do today.

The Accident

The first was a serious motorcycle accident in Thailand in 1999. At the time I was a high school teacher, working 80 to 100 hours a week with many high needs and vulnerable students in my care. I loved my work and I loved my students, but I was giving more than I had to give. I was anxious, stressed and depressed. Burnt out. Exhausted in every way.

I was also feeling trapped in the rat race with bills to pay and what seemed like no option to stop. Yet something inside me knew I could not continue like that. When I finally got to the point where I was more scared of what might happen if I stayed than if I walked away, I rented out my house and left my home country on a one way ticket.

The accident happened just 2 weeks in to my trip and became one of the best things that ever happened for me. Not because it was easy, and certainly not because I would have chosen it, but because it woke me up and forced me to stop and truly reassess my life. The care I received was simple and deeply human. I was quite literally kept alive by the kindness of strangers. For the first time in years I felt profoundly grateful and happy to be alive. That was the moment I decided to truly live before I die.

I began living very differently. I spent time in a monastery learning meditation. I lived on an isolated beach without electricity. I rose with the sun and slept when it set. I swam in the ocean, ate simply and spent long hours outdoors. I learned Reiki, and read some amazing books on spirituality and living consciously. Each day, for weeks, I was amazed to wake up more relaxed than I was the day before.

That period became the foundation of what I do now, inspiring others to add more LIFE to their years.

As the saying goes - Your second life begins the moment you realise you only have one!

NOW is the time to do what you love. NOW is the time to live in alignment with your values. To live with intention. To fully experience what it is to be you, in your body, in this space and time.

The Illness

The second turning point came a few years later when I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and told I would never have children.

I was given medication which I took for only a couple of days. I could feel it was not right for my system. My intuition told me it was poisoning me. It made no sense to me to take something that felt so toxic while hoping my body would become a healthy space to grow a new life. There had to be another way.

Following extensive research and a course on nutritional medicine, I shifted my focus to diet, lifestyle, fasting, detoxification and nervous system regulation. I chose to work with my body rather than against it. At 39, after my second water fast, I conceived on my second attempt, with no medical assistance.

That experience cemented my belief that the body has an extraordinary capacity to respond when we create the right conditions. It strengthened my respect for informed choice and personal responsibility. Health is rarely about one magic solution. It is about understanding your own body and supporting it wisely.

After that I transitioned from my career as a high school science teacher into holistic health and life coaching and creating my own educational courses. I completed formal training across nutrition, menopause transition, metabolic health, emotional clearing and multiple coaching modalities, and I continue to evolve, study and refine my approach.

Today I bring together evidence based health coaching, wellness education, emotional healing and life transformation. I support women navigating PCOS, perimenopause and menopause to restore energy, balance hormones, improve metabolic health and step confidently into their next chapter.

More recently I have realised that my story is why I have always attracted midlife women in my coaching practice. It was never just about transforming their health. They were choosing me to support them through their reinvention
